Position Overview:
As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare team and ensuring a smooth patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare examination rooms and assist in patient transitions.
- Maintain an efficient flow of patients and ensure readiness for visits.
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their age, cultural, spiritual, and developmental needs.
- Utilize the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for timely task management.
- Ensure examination rooms are stocked with necessary supplies.
- Demonstrate knowledge of medical emergency protocols and equipment.
- Handle phone communications professionally, directing calls and taking messages accurately.
- Manage medication inventory and assist in supply ordering as needed.
- Report any issues or concerns to the Supervisor or Manager promptly.
- Work within the defined scope of practice and demonstrate flexibility in scheduling.

General Duties:
- Perform additional tasks as required.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to push, pull, and lift heavy objects, considering frequency and weight.
- Physical mobility and agility to navigate the workplace effectively.
- Dexterity and balance during various tasks.
- Endurance for prolonged standing, walking, and typing.

Environmental Considerations:
- Exposure to chemicals, noise, and temperature variations.
- Potential allergens such as dust and mold.
- Awareness of blood-borne pathogens and infectious materials.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 0-1 years of experience preferred; 2-4 years is advantageous.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
- Proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
- Basic computer proficiency required; familiarity with office equipment preferred.
- Experience with patient care technology and EHR systems is a plus.

Travel Requirements:
- Ability to commute to various locations as necessary.
