About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our sales team at Gather AI. As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and promoting our AI solutions to prospective customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and qualify new business opportunities with clients by effectively communicating the value proposition of Gather AI's inventory monitoring solutions.
  • Use a consultative approach to understand the needs and operations of your prospects, and propose solutions that solve their problems.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, decision-makers, and influencers, to understand their business needs and challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to develop customized solutions tailored to meet the specific requirements of clients.
  • Drive the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure, ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience.
  • Help refine our sales process based on your learnings in the field.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, quotas, and KPIs to contribute to the overall growth and success of Gather AI.
Requirements
  • Must have a proven track record of success in B2B sales within supply chain / logistics technology industries.
  • 5+ years of experience in selling enterprise software or technology services.
  • Knowledge of enterprise B2B software sales methodologies and frameworks.
  • Experience working on a high-performing team with a mature sales process.
  • Strong understanding of warehousing operations, how they are measured and organized, and their key challenges.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create proposals that articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Excellent verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to demo our product (with training) in customer facilities.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for exceeding targets and driving business outcomes.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable team player with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience using CRM software (e.g. HubSpot) and other sales productivity tools.

  • Experience using or selling Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Experience with robotics or AI.
  • Experience at venture-backed startups.
  • Technology background.
