Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare general ledger journal entries, reconcile accounts, and review job cost reports to analyze cost variances.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the ERP system.
  • Accounting Procedures: Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending improvements.
  • Financial Planning: Assist the CFO with budget and forecast preparation.
  • Accounting Operations: Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts and answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Accounting required. CPA or CMA is a plus.
  • Skills: Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, strong written and oral communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, strong organizational and analytical skills, and ability to read and understand technical forms and financial reports.
