ABOUT US:

Infracore is expanding and is in search of a Senior Enterprise Systems Engineer to enhance our team of skilled IT experts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Initial 30 Days and Ongoing:

  • Complete specialized technical onboarding and leadership training.
  • Familiarize yourself with Infracore's mission, values, and guiding principles.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of Infracore's clientele, business model, and service offerings.
  • Establish strong connections with Infracore colleagues.
  • Learn about Infracore's tools, compliance standards, policies, and essential programs to effectively support project execution.
  • Review client project specifications to initiate the implementation of proposed solutions, which may include Microsoft 365, firewall configurations, domain controller setups, on-premises hardware, and cybersecurity measures.

Ongoing Duties:

  • Engage in continuous leadership development sessions.
  • Implement and manage a variety of IT projects for clients with technical expertise and accuracy.
  • Create and document IT processes and procedures, effectively manage projects and time, and support additional projects to meet team and organizational objectives.
  • Independently manage 2-3 projects to drive success and ongoing improvements.
  • Build trusted relationships with primary contacts at client locations and serve as a liaison for updates, issues, and inquiries.
  • Collaborate with management to review and enhance new hire training modules and identify areas for improvement in client support.
  • Conduct audits and site assessments to present findings to clients, addressing questions regarding processes, challenges, and outcomes during presentations.
  • Execute 90% of all service offerings independently, including migration tools, virtualization solutions, backup software, cloud services, scripting, and automation tasks.
  • Proactively research unfamiliar technologies or processes, analyze potential applications, and present recommendations and implementation plans for team review.
  • Contribute to team growth by embodying Infracore's values and mentoring new employees.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in deploying and implementing IT projects and/or solutions as a Systems Administrator.
  • Proficient in setting up and managing physical servers, as well as PC and Mac hardware.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, and Entra ID.
  • Experience with Defender Suite.
  • Hands-on experience managing the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive, with a solid understanding of security protocols and best practices.
  • Strong grasp of cybersecurity measures and best practices, including multi-factor authentication, Microsoft Authenticator, Duo, and other remote monitoring and management tools, SSL certificates, encryption, and public key infrastructure (PKI).
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructures and understanding of IaaS cloud solutions; AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
  • Solid understanding of DNS, networking (TCP/IP), routing, and firewall management.
  • Experience with virtualization solutions (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Familiarity with enterprise backup software, including backup and restore processes.
  • Proficient in PowerShell scripting.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Knowledge of IT aspects of common legal compliance programs such as SOX, HIPAA, CCPA, and ISO.
  • Experience with NIST 800 and CIS Top 20.
  • Working experience with Exchange, SAN, and RAID is a plus.
