As a Global Technology Manager, you will play a critical role in leading a dynamic team of Engineers and Solution Architects responsible for delivering technical solutions that meet Compass's evolving business requirements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and guide a team of Business Systems Engineers, Developers, and Admins to foster a culture of high performance and innovation.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and implement new technical initiatives, streamline processes, automate tasks, and educate staff on effective technology usage.
  • Supervise daily activities of Systems Engineers, Developers, and Admins delivering critical features and enhancements for Compass's business growth and success.
  • Oversee technical operations of business systems, including Salesforce, Okta/OneLogin, Zendesk, Google, Workato, DialPad, and other critical systems.
  • Provide leadership and direction to ensure completion of team tasks, resolution of issues, and achievement of project milestones and objectives.
  • Develop and implement efficient team operation processes across Agile, Release Management, Production Support, and Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Define a clear vision for the short- and long-term technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business and team objectives and goals.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to build trust and plan product development and implementation.
  • Communicate transparently with cross-functional stakeholders to build trusted relationships and prepare for product investments and initiatives.
  • Lead the development and implementation of operational excellence strategies to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and quality across all operational facets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Profound technical proficiency in Salesforce, capable of steering the GTM technology ecosystem roadmap, including integrations with critical systems like billing systems, marketing platforms, Zendesk, and SpringCM.
  • Over 8 years of hands-on development experience with large-scale platforms and applications, including business systems and technologies such as REST, SOAP, ETL, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience managing application development engineers, ensuring team growth, and productivity.
  • Skilled in creating detailed roadmaps and plans, promotional materials, and executive-level documentation.
  • Experience in technical design discussions, driving technical architecture, and leading engineering projects.
  • Expertise in partnering with cross-functional teams and communicating complex technical concepts effectively.
  • Strong Agile mindset with experience in resource-constrained environments and driving data-driven improvements.

Compensation and Benefits:

The base pay range for this position is $118,100-$177,000 annually, subject to variation based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional bonuses, stock units, and comprehensive benefits package provided, including participation in incentive programs, paid vacation, holidays, healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, flexible spending accounts, commuter program, life and disability insurance, and more.
