Job Summary

Mount Prospect Academy is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Program Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our residential treatment program, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our students, while also contributing to the overall success of our program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Support Staff: Provide guidance and oversight to our Youth Counselors, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to deliver high-quality care to our students.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Collaborate with our treatment team to create and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Facilitate Residential Program Operations: Oversee the daily operations of our residential program, including managing schedules, coordinating activities, and ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our students.
  • Communicate Effectively: Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues, ensuring open and transparent communication throughout the program.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Program Effectiveness: Collect and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of our program, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and families in a residential or treatment setting, or a related field. A degree in a human services field or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills and Qualities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Certifications and Training: Must be certified in CPR/First Aid and have a valid driver's license. Completion of relevant training programs, such as crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques, is preferred.
