Job Summary

Mount Prospect Academy is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Program Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our residential treatment program, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our students, while also contributing to the overall success of our program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Guide Youth Counselors: Provide guidance and support to our Youth Counselors, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to deliver high-quality care to our students.
  • Participate in Residential Treatment Model: Collaborate with our team to implement and maintain a comprehensive residential treatment model that addresses the unique needs of our students.
  • Supervise Youth and Manage Facilities: Ensure the safety and well-being of our students, while also maintaining a clean and organized living environment.
  • Coordinate Recreational and Educational Programming: Develop and implement engaging recreational and educational activities that promote the social, emotional, and academic growth of our students.
  • Document Services and Maintain Records: Accurately document all services provided to our students, while also maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Engage in Behavioral Management and Crisis Intervention: Utilize evidence-based practices to manage challenging behaviors and intervene in crisis situations.
  • Communicate Effectively and Maintain Professional Boundaries: Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues, while upholding professional boundaries at all times.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: An associate's or higher degree with a minimum of 12 credits in the field of human services, or other field related to residential care, awarded by a regionally accredited college or university. Alternatively, the equivalent of 2 years of full-time experience working with children.
  • Skills and Qualities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to providing exceptional care and support to our students.
