Job Description

**About the Role:**

The Operations Coordinator will play a pivotal role in managing the scheduling of conference center rooms, coordinating room set-up details, and providing exceptional customer service to guests. This multi-faceted position requires proficiency with conference center equipment, technology, and the ability to perform routine troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage conference center room scheduling and coordinate room set-up details.
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests, handling individual requests and needs.
  • Be proficient with conference center equipment and technology.
  • Perform routine troubleshooting to ensure seamless events.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three to five years of successful hospitality/retail/customer service experience.
  • Minimum of two years of office management or administrative support experience scheduling, planning, and organizing events.
  • Excellent customer service delivery standards with the ability to multi-task and address customers' needs.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and maintain a flexible approach when providing customer support.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and make decisions.
  • Ability to form and maintain internal and external partnerships that support the organizational mission, values, and goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high-level attention to detail, maintaining clear and effective dialog with customers and the community.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, as well as proficiency with various technology, including mobile and audio-visual devices.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
