Position Overview

In this role, you will support instructional and residential staff in developing and executing educational and residential programs tailored to individual needs. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of students at all times.
  • Creating a conducive learning environment that promotes academic and social growth.
  • Guiding students in appropriate social behaviors both on and off campus.
  • Addressing student crises effectively and seeking assistance when necessary.
Compensation

The salary for this position is competitive and based on your education and experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED: $19.77 per hour
  • Bachelor's Degree: $20.84 per hour
  • Master's Degree or higher: $21.91 per hour

Qualifications

To be considered for the Educational Support Specialist position, candidates should:
  • Possess a High School Diploma/GED with at least one year of relevant experience; a Bachelor's or Associate's degree is preferred.
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
  • Exhibit flexibility, patience, creativity, and a sense of humor.
  • Demonstrate a strong passion for working with individuals with special needs.
Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, which include:
  • Frequent walking, sitting, bending, and standing.

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good vision and manual dexterity.
