Position Overview:

We're seeking a dedicated Education and Adoption Specialist to play a crucial role in refining our curriculum and navigating the complexities of school system adoption. This short-term, volunteer position offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on the financial futures of young people.


Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Enhancement: Review and enhance our existing curriculum, ensuring alignment with educational standards and best practices.
  • School Adoption Strategy: Develop a comprehensive strategy for introducing Popstock to schools, including identifying key decision-makers and addressing potential barriers.
  • Compliance Expertise: Guide us in meeting all necessary educational and technological requirements for school adoption.
  • Beta Testing: Participate in the beta testing of our app, providing valuable feedback from an educational perspective.


Qualifications:

  • Curriculum Development: Proven experience in curriculum development, ideally within a K-12 or higher education setting.
  • School System Knowledge: Deep understanding of school adoption processes, including curriculum approval and technology integration.
  • Passion for Education: A strong commitment to improving financial literacy among young people.
  • Excellent Communication: Ability to clearly articulate ideas and collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
  • Startup Mindset: Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with a small team.


Time Commitment:

  • Weekly Meetings: 1-hour virtual meeting after business hours.
  • Independent Work: Up to 5 hours per week on assigned tasks.
