Key Responsibilities- Coordinate patient scheduling, including interpreting physicians' orders and expediting clinic flow to minimize waiting times.
- Collaborate with clinic management to maintain physician templates and ensure quality patient care.
- Communicate appointment information to patients in a timely and clear manner, providing necessary instructions for ancillary appointments.
- Manage and facilitate the patient scheduling process to optimize efficiency and resources.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to multiple telephone calls and taking accurate messages.
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of patient information at all times.
- Update and revise demographic, financial, and insurance information as necessary.
- Collect co-payments as appropriate and ensure the medical record is available for patient care.
- Assist in maintaining a safe environment for patients, coworkers, and visitors.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment skills test.
