Job Description Summary

This position centers on life methodologies and mission assessment, providing support to life management and engineering teams. The role encompasses contributions to the design and advancement of products, solutions, and systems, while also focusing on the technical enhancement of existing products and the introduction of new offerings. While some autonomy is granted, the emphasis remains on executing tasks within established operational standards and practices, with guidance available as needed.

Job Responsibilities

Key Duties
  • Implement the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects by applying sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements. This role will focus on life methodologies and mission assessment, specifically standardizing automated military mission analysis (AMA/AMM) workflows across various programs with consistent configurations and common functionalities.
  • Collaborate closely with life management and engineering teams for both existing and new production applications.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of a technical discipline, particularly mission assessment and life methodologies, leveraging prior experience and technical expertise to execute policies and strategies.
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of key business drivers, utilizing this knowledge to accomplish individual tasks. Understand how the work of your team integrates with other teams and contributes to the overall objectives.
  • Employ sound judgment and the ability to propose alternative solutions within set parameters, with guidance. Utilize prior experience and on-the-job training to address straightforward tasks, accessing necessary technical skills and analytical thinking to resolve issues. May consult multiple internal sources outside of your team to inform decisions.
  • This role is likely to be an individual contributor with established interpersonal skills or an emerging leader capable of hiring and developing talent. Provide informal mentorship to new team members.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Engineering and Science disciplines.

  • Proven capability to analyze and resolve challenges.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs effectively.
  • Established project management expertise.
  • Experience with Python programming.
