Job Overview

This position encompasses all functions related to the enhancement of service technologies, the integration of customer data, and the assessment of engine/product reliability, availability, maintenance, safety, and other performance metrics. The role involves both hourly and salaried employees, including managerial positions dedicated to these responsibilities. Key Responsibilities

Core Duties
  • Provide support for the existing customer base, including tasks such as resolving customer issues, addressing fleet concerns, implementing service bulletins, and managing fleet configurations and data.
  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge in a specific technical area, leveraging previous experience and technical expertise to implement policies and strategies.
  • Possess a deep understanding of critical business drivers, utilizing this insight to effectively complete individual tasks. Understand how the work of your team integrates with other teams and contributes to the overall objectives.
  • Exercise judgment to propose alternative solutions within established guidelines, using past experiences and on-the-job training to tackle straightforward challenges. Access necessary technical skills and analytical thinking to resolve issues, potentially consulting multiple internal resources.
  • This role is typically suited for an individual contributor with strong interpersonal skills or an emerging leader capable of hiring and nurturing talent. Provide informal mentorship to new team members.
Qualifications Required
  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in service or installed base engineering.
Preferred Attributes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proven capability to analyze and resolve complex issues.
  • Skilled in documentation, planning, marketing, and executing programs.
  • Established project management expertise.
