Position Overview:
The Director of Regional Sales for Trustmark Voluntary Benefit Solutions is responsible for driving new business growth by cultivating strong, consultative relationships with key worksite and voluntary benefit distributors, including brokers, agents, financial planners, and consultants.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with distribution partners to demonstrate our value proposition.
- Achieve annual sales targets and growth objectives.
- Oversee the acquisition process by coordinating with the sales support team and acting as a liaison between producers and clients to optimize sales efforts.

Prospecting and Relationship Management:
- Generate new business opportunities through existing relationships and proactive outreach.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to create educational programs that promote Trustmark's offerings in the marketplace.

Reporting and Analytics:
- Monitor competitive landscape to assess Trustmark's market position.
- Utilize Salesforce for activity reporting, forecasting, and pipeline management.
- Provide regular updates on sales metrics and forecasts.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in voluntary product sales or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate and interpret reports to enhance sales performance.
- Knowledge of employee benefits and life/health insurance is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on understanding client needs.
