Job Opportunity: Leasing Manager

Akelius is seeking a skilled Leasing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leasing team, you will be responsible for leasing apartments and providing exceptional customer service to ensure maximum occupancy and retention of residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies for vacant apartment units
  • Coordinate showings from various marketing sources
  • Effectively lease vacant apartments and reduce vacancy through individual showings
  • Prepare and assemble full application packages, lease preparation, and all aspects of the move-in process
  • Enter prospect data into required management systems
  • Stay up-to-date on competitor pricing, product, and incentives
  • Identify and address changes required due to market and competitive changes
  • Follow up with clients and present strong closing presentations
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • High School or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field preferred
  • At least one year's experience in residential leasing and/or sales
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required, depending on assigned portfolio
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Creative and strong deal-closing abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Organization and administrative skills
  • Willingness to work weekends, as directed, or required
