Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team at Horning Management Company, LLC. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring the success of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee site teams and ensure excellent customer service
  • Prepare work schedules and monitor leasing activity
  • Approve applications and sign leases as needed
  • Manage lease renewals, NTV, and move-out processes
  • Perform move-out inspections and complete transmittals
  • Prepare collection paperwork and ensure timely invoicing
  • Coordinate DCRA, DCHA, and other housing inspections
  • Work with maintenance teams to ensure excellent customer service
  • Prepare reports as requested and oversee expenses
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of property management experience
  • Minimum 3 years of tax credit and HUD experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Yardi Voyager and Nexus
  • Full Microsoft Office proficiency
