Administrative Coordinator

George Mason University is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to support the Student Employment Experience Collective. This part-time (20-25 hours per week) role will provide organizational, calendaring, and website content development support to the collective.
Key Responsibilities- Provide general administrative support to the collective, including agenda management, meeting coordination, and note-taking.
- Assist with file and assignment management, tracking, and ensuring timely follow-up on project goals.
- Coordinate with the steering committee to confirm regular communication with members.
- Manage the collective's calendars, including scheduling standing and ad-hoc meetings, resolving scheduling conflicts, and providing requested materials to meeting constituents.
- Research and collect resources for a new website, working with the collective to select and develop appropriate content for supervisors of student employees.
- Demonstrated administrative or coordination experience.
- Ability to schedule and adjust meetings, calls, and events.
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate with a diverse internal and external community in a professional manner.
- Demonstrated knowledge of professional office procedures.
- Demonstrated computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated writing and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collect and organize relevant information and data electronically.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize and organize vast amounts of information into action plans.
- Experience working in a university setting.
- Experience with organizing content and writing for the web.
