Job Opportunity: Medical Technologist/Technician Generalist Position

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist/Technician to join our team as a Generalist, responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, basic blood bank, and microbiology.
  • This is a permanent position with opportunities for growth and professional development.
  • The position is primarily evening or night shift, but we may consider day shift candidates.
  • Relocation assistance is available to support our out-of-town candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, basic blood bank, and microbiology.
  • Collect and process laboratory specimens, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with laboratory techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

  • ASCP certification or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of laboratory experience, preferably in a generalist role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
