Role Responsibilities
As a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, you will:
- Conduct precise laboratory tests and ensure timely processing of samples.
- Take charge of departmental responsibilities in the absence of the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient results.
- Execute urgent procedures within established timeframes.
- Utilize sound judgment in interpreting and correlating patient results.
- Monitor pending logs and address any outstanding tasks.
- Implement quality control measures and manage critical laboratory specimens.
Qualifications Required
- An Associate Degree in a relevant field is mandatory.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology is preferred.
- Less than one year of experience in a laboratory setting.
- A valid Technologist License in the relevant state or the ability to obtain one.
- Licensure in one or more clinical specialty areas is advantageous.
