Key Responsibilities:- Conduct precise laboratory testing and analysis, ensuring compliance with established protocols and timelines.
- Oversee departmental responsibilities in the absence of supervisory staff.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient results.
- Execute urgent procedures within designated turnaround times.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to interpret and correlate patient results effectively.
- Perform quality control measures and address any issues with laboratory specimens or test outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of an Associate Degree in a relevant field; a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology is preferred.
- Less than one year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- A valid State of Florida Technologist License or the ability to obtain one during the interview process.
- Licensure in one or more clinical specialty areas, with a preference for Generalist, Blood Bank, Serology, Chemistry, Hematology, or Microbiology.
