Shift Details: Enjoy a stable work-life balance with a consistent schedule from Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, allowing you to make the most of your mornings.

A Day In The Life:

  • Conduct tests and inspections on high-voltage bushings and related products to established standards while recording performance data.
  • Manage your workflow effectively, executing test and inspection duties independently to meet production deadlines.
  • Perform thorough audits on various materials and components, such as transformer oil and epoxy resin, ensuring compliance with our quality standards.
  • Operate testing equipment and connect circuits for high-voltage bushing assessments.
  • Meticulously document all test results, generate certification reports, and maintain our quality assurance databases with accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot testing circuits when results are ambiguous.
  • Communicate recurring or significant quality concerns for prompt corrective actions.
  • Serve as a primary contact for customers during testing, providing comprehensive documentation and insights.
  • Play a vital role in identifying and reporting quality issues, fostering continuous improvement across our operations.
  • Be open to occasionally working 1st shift or split shifts and overtime as required by business needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will Help You Succeed in This Role?

  • A solid educational background with a High School diploma or GED; an Associate degree in Electrical Engineering is advantageous.
  • Experience in a relevant field or a combination of education and experience.
  • Strong mathematical abilities to analyze component specifications and data effectively.
  • Excellent written communication skills for clear and concise reporting.
  • A talent for managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing production demands.
  • A commitment to upholding the highest safety standards in all work aspects.

Physical Requirements: This position is hands-on and requires standing, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. Normal vision abilities and flexibility to work with various tools and equipment are also necessary.
