Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Vendor Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee and enhance the quality management processes associated with our manufacturing partners globally.

  • Leadership in Quality Management: Take charge of the quality assurance processes for Aerosol Jet print systems, ensuring that our partners adhere to the highest standards.
  • Collaboration with Engineering Teams: Work closely with project engineers throughout the development lifecycle, as well as manage the production of equipment post-release.
  • Technical Proficiency: Utilize SolidWorks to effectively collaborate with development engineers on product specifications and improvements.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Partner with vendors to ensure that project timelines, budget constraints, and quality benchmarks are consistently met.
  • Quality Audits: Conduct thorough vendor quality audits to verify compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.
  • Documentation Development: Create and refine build documentation, either independently or in collaboration with vendors, to guarantee that all builds are comprehensive and free of defects.
  • Contract Oversight: Manage vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions while fostering relationships that promote continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside various teams to address quality concerns and implement effective corrective measures.
  • Travel Requirements: Be prepared for up to 20% travel, both domestically and internationally, to vendor locations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in vendor quality management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in supplier quality management, including vendor quality audits and internal quality processes.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and Bill of Materials (BOM) management.
  • Strong knowledge of vendor contracts and project management methodologies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
