Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of experience in a fabrication setting and be proficient with the following equipment:
- CMM – PCDMIS software (Programming Experience Preferred)
- Vision systems – OGP and Keyence
- A variety of hand tools including OD, blade, pitch micrometers, chamfer gauges, and Mitutoyo height stands
Your primary duties will include conducting first article, in-process, and final inspections of precision machined and turned components, guiding adjustments on the shop floor, and managing any non-conformances identified. This role offers significant authority to inspectors.
Essential Functions
- Work in a smoke-free environment
- Manual lifting capability of up to 30 lbs
Required Skills
- Inspection Techniques
- Blueprint Interpretation
- CMM Operation (3 years of experience required)
- Visual Comparator Operation (3 years of experience required)
- CMM Programming
