Aegis Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our patient care services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Documentation Review: Conduct thorough reviews of clinical and chart documentation to ensure compliance with Aegis policies, state and federal regulations, and payor requirements.
- Quality Improvement: Implement quality improvement initiatives based on data analysis and identified trends. Monitor the effectiveness of these initiatives.
- Training and Support: Provide training and guidance to clinical staff on documentation best practices, compliance standards, and quality improvement processes.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports to relevant regulatory bodies. Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and ensure the organization's compliance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Quality Assurance and other department heads to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Leadership: Lead and participate in quality assurance projects aimed at improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of home health, hospice, or other medical related experience
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN), Physical Therapist (PT), Or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks timely
- Demonstrate high level of contribution in accuracy, quality, completeness and volume of work
- Service oriented mindset
- Adaptive problem-solving skills
- Valid Driver's License (clean record) & reliable transportation.
- Proof of current auto insurance & car registration
- Ability to pass Criminal Background Check
- Valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card (we can help)
- Current CPR Certification (we can help) & Negative TB Test (we can test)
