Position Summary

  • Primarily operates in banquet facilities and off-site locations, assisting with food preparation and table arrangements following each event. May occasionally support the restaurant operations.
  • Delivers exceptional customer service, upholds food safety standards, and maintains a tidy and organized dining and banquet environment.
  • Responsible for efficiently serving buffet or plated meals to guests, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings. Attentively responds to guest inquiries.
  • Accountable for the setup and breakdown of all banquet events.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Prior experience in food service as a server in a dining environment is preferred.
  • Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to remain composed and effective under pressure.

  • Dedicated to delivering quality service and enhancing food and beverage knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Warmly greets and acknowledges guests upon arrival. Enthusiastically interacts with customers, answering inquiries about food and beverage options accurately. Builds relationships with residents to understand their preferences and enhance service efficiency.
  • Dining Services: Informs customers of daily specials, presents menus, and answers questions about menu items. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of menus and recipes. Accurately takes orders and communicates with kitchen staff to ensure satisfaction.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Ensures constant sanitation, organization, and proper food handling. Maintains a clean, organized, and stocked work area, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Setup, Cleaning, and Stocking: Prepares dining areas for meals, including setting up linens, silverware, and glassware. Cleans tables and removes used dishes. Ensures all supplies are stocked in serving areas.
  • Team Collaboration: Actively participates in team activities and meetings, promoting teamwork and maintaining professional relationships with colleagues. Assists in onboarding new team members as needed.
  • Additional Duties: Performs other responsibilities as assigned, reflective of the nature and level of work.
