As a Culinary Specialist, your primary duty will be to craft delightful meals for our clientele. This includes analyzing recipes, designing menus, and preparing high-quality dishes. You will also be expected to assign tasks to kitchen personnel to ensure timely meal preparation while adhering to sanitation standards. We are eager to connect with candidates who possess experience in advanced cooking methods and innovative ingredients. Your ultimate objective will be to prepare and present a comprehensive menu that satisfies our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize the kitchen with necessary cooking tools and equipment.
  • Review recipes and gather all required ingredients.
  • Prepare food efficiently and effectively.
  • Communicate daily specials to service staff.
  • Ensure attractive presentation of dishes.
  • Monitor food supplies and place orders as needed.
  • Inspect food freshness and discard expired items.
  • Experiment with recipes and propose new ingredients.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure adherence to established policies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and team members.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Chef or Cook.
  • Hands-on experience with various kitchen appliances.
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques, baking, and pastry skills.
  • Ability to remain composed while managing multiple tasks.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Current knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes.
  • Familiarity with sanitation regulations.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Culinary school diploma is preferred.
  • Experience with POS systems and catering management software is a plus.
