Job Summary

The Construction Project Manager is a key member of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System team, responsible for overseeing and managing facility projects from budgeting to construction. This role requires a systematic approach to planning and scheduling, cost tracking, and project status communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Develop a collaborative team of stakeholders, consulting departments, and outsourced consultants to ensure successful project outcomes. Create and lead project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Capital Budgeting: Participate in the capital budgeting process, coordinating between associates and departments to ensure accurate scope, schedule, and budget for all requests.
  • Project Supervision: Manage assigned facilities design and construction projects, supervising the work of architects, engineers, and contractors to achieve project objectives within budget guidelines.
  • Project Documentation: Track and document project progress, including cost control, life safety documentation, as-built documents, building permits, and certificates of occupancy.
  • Team Development: Direct the development of the CAD & CAFM system for Facilities Planning and Property Management, and interface with Site leadership and department heads regarding the planning, design, and coordination of the construction process.
  • Project Status Communication: Monitor and communicate project status to administration.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of progressive experience in facilities project management, including planning, coordination, and supervision of facilities design and construction.
  • Experience in project administration, including capital budgeting, establishing cost tracking controls, monitoring of progress, and reporting to management of projects of the $10K to $10M dollar range.
  • Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field, or five to seven years of experience.
  • Experience in the application of CAD and CAFM as related to facilities project management, and proficiency in the use of computer-based spreadsheet, word processing, and project management software.
