We are in search of a proficient and seasoned Construction Manager who holds certifications in Construction Quality Management (CQM) and Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO). The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising quality assurance and site safety across multiple construction sites, ensuring that both quality and safety standards are consistently upheld. This role is vital for maintaining the integrity of projects and safeguarding the health and safety of all personnel on site.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Oversight:
    • Manage all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion.
    • Ensure timely project delivery while adhering to scope and budget constraints.
    • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
    • Develop and oversee project timelines and financial plans.
    • Prepare and deliver project updates to stakeholders.
  2. Quality Control:
    • Establish and manage quality assurance protocols.
    • Guarantee that all work complies with contractual obligations and industry benchmarks.
    • Conduct regular inspections and evaluations to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
    • Address and resolve quality-related challenges promptly.
  3. Safety Oversight:
    • Act as the Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) for the project.
    • Design, implement, and enforce site-specific safety strategies.
    • Lead regular safety meetings and training for site personnel.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations.
    • Investigate incidents and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  4. Communication and Coordination:
    • Serve as the main contact for clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies.
    • Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders.
    • Resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  5. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain thorough project documentation, including daily logs and inspection reports.
    • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to clients and stakeholders.
    • Ensure all project documentation is accurate and current.
Qualifications
  • Certifications:
    • USACE Construction Quality Management (QCM) Certification
    • OSHA 30 Certification
    • ECATTS Certification
    • Valid Driver's License
    • Additional construction-related certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience:
    • At least 5 years of experience in CPM CSS and/or QCM, focusing on quality assurance, quality control, and safety.
    • Demonstrated success in managing construction projects from start to finish.
    • Experience in construction management of Residential Structures is a plus.
    • General knowledge of EM385-1.
  • Skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
    • Exceptional project management and organizational capabilities.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
