Position Summary

We are in search of a proficient and seasoned Construction Manager holding certifications in Construction Quality Management (CQM) and Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO). The selected individual will be responsible for supervising quality assurance and site safety across multiple construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. This role is vital for upholding project integrity and safeguarding the health and safety of all personnel on site.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Oversight:
    • Manage all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion.
    • Ensure timely project delivery within defined scope and budget.
    • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals.
    • Develop and oversee project timelines and financial plans.
    • Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders.
  2. Quality Control:
    • Establish and enforce quality assurance protocols.
    • Guarantee all work meets contractual obligations and industry standards.
    • Conduct regular evaluations and audits for compliance with specifications and regulations.
    • Address and resolve quality-related challenges promptly.
  3. Safety Leadership:
    • Act as the Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) for the project.
    • Formulate, implement, and uphold site-specific safety strategies.
    • Lead regular safety briefings and training for site staff.
    • Ensure adherence to all applicable safety regulations.
    • Investigate incidents and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  4. Communication and Coordination:
    • Serve as the main liaison for clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies.
    • Facilitate effective communication among all project participants.
    • Resolve conflicts and issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  5. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain thorough project records, including daily logs and inspection reports.
    • Prepare and deliver regular progress reports to clients and stakeholders.
    • Ensure all documentation is accurate and current.
Qualifications
  • Certifications:
    • USACE Construction Quality Management (QCM) Certification
    • OSHA 30 Certification
    • ECATTS Certification
    • Valid Driver's License
    • Additional construction-related certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience:
    • At least 5 years of experience in CPM CSS and/or QCM, focusing on quality assurance, quality control, and safety.
    • Demonstrated success in managing construction projects from start to finish.
    • Experience in construction management of residential structures is a plus.
    • General knowledge of EM385-1.
  • Skills:
    • In-depth understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and regulations.
    • Exceptional project management and organizational capabilities.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
