Job Overview

This role involves overseeing and directing assigned projects, ensuring effective management of field operations, site safety, productivity, schedules, quality assurance, and coordination with trade contractors and suppliers. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with all project team members to mitigate risks and uphold LEMOINE's Foundations for Successful Execution. This position is responsible for the successful delivery of projects with annual revenues reaching up to $15 Million or those of comparable complexity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts thorough reviews of Safe Work Practices during all Pre-Installation Meetings, emphasizing site-specific safety protocols.
  • Facilitates weekly comprehensive safety meetings on-site, ensuring that all team members are aligned and that high-risk areas are consistently monitored.
  • Implements Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures for any non-conforming work, ensuring proper documentation, communication, and rectification of issues, including follow-up inspections.
  • Manages the construction of multiple projects with annual revenues ranging from $15 million to $40 million.
  • Regularly reviews monthly Project Cost Summary Reports to ensure alignment with final budget estimates, focusing on projections and investigating significant variances between estimated, committed, and actual job costs, while recommending solutions or recovery strategies.
  • Develops initial schedules, milestones, and critical material delivery timelines based on the Phased Sequencing Plan.
  • Provides mentorship and leadership to Assistant Project Managers, LEAP, Craft personnel, and Field Staff assigned to the project.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within commercial general contracting or subcontracting.
  • In-depth knowledge of project planning and scheduling across various construction trades.
  • Comprehensive understanding of commercial construction methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software applications.
  • Demonstrated mathematical skills along with exceptional teamwork, communication (both written and verbal), and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong analytical and comprehension skills.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the employee to meet certain physical and mental demands to successfully perform essential job functions. Duties may involve frequent sitting, standing, walking, using hands for handling or feeling, reaching with arms, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The employee must be capable of occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
