Washington, Washington, D.C., United States Joseph House Full time

About Us
Joseph's House is a compassionate residential respite care facility dedicated to serving individuals who have faced homelessness and are living with advanced HIV disease.

Our Mission
We strive to provide a nurturing environment for our residents, many of whom confront challenges such as mental health issues, societal stigma, isolation, substance dependency, poverty, and domestic violence, which hinder their ability to manage their health effectively.

Post-Residential Support
Once residents achieve medical stability, they may transition to comprehensive post-residential case management services. These services encompass medication oversight, housing assistance, counseling, life skills development, advocacy, transportation, and community engagement activities.

Commitment to Justice, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Our organization is unwavering in its dedication to dismantling racial disparities and fostering a diverse workforce that embodies our commitment to justice.

Joseph's House prohibits discrimination against applicants or employees based on race, creed, sexual orientation, gender identity, color, age, national origin, religious beliefs, physical disability, marital status, ancestry, past incarceration unrelated to job responsibilities, or military service.

Philosophy of Care
Founded on principles of justice for the marginalized and companionship with the outcast, Joseph's House emphasizes mindfulness and awareness practices that encourage us to confront suffering with compassion.

We seek individuals who are eager to engage in personal and spiritual growth through their service and interactions within the Joseph's House community.
