General Responsibilities: The Safety and Security Specialist is tasked with ensuring a safe and secure environment for all residents, visitors, and staff while safeguarding community assets. This role encompasses, but is not limited to, providing security, medical assistance, and additional services for residents as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular patrols both inside and outside the premises to ensure a secure environment for residents and their belongings, as well as company assets.
  • Complete daily security reports.
  • Respond promptly to all fire alarms and emergency situations.
  • Perform continuous monitoring of property and facilities.
  • Document incidents (related to medical responses, property theft, accidents, fires, significant mechanical issues, emergency responses, and breaches of rules and regulations)
  • Regular attendance is crucial for this role. Must demonstrate reliability and punctuality as per the attendance policy.
  • May undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Preferred: One (1) year of experience in a security role.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform basic arithmetic.
  • Must be able to attend, be evaluated on, and maintain certifications including, but not limited to, first responder, EMT, and CPR.
