Job Summary:

Nexien Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and track inventory for new PCs, returned PCs, loaner PCs, and related equipment.
  • Prepare PCs for deployment, including installation, configuration, and setup for new hires or replacements, and follow up on user account activation with HR.
  • Conduct testing of new PC models for application compatibility and performance, and create new installation images.
  • Upgrade and replace PC parts, and handle shipping, tracking, and inventory management of IT equipment.
  • Perform software and hardware troubleshooting, including peripheral devices, VDI, email systems, and PC applications.
  • Monitor VDI status and provide support for VDI-related issues, including software and hardware integration.
  • Perform manual malware scanning, ensure anti-virus software is operational, and troubleshoot network issues.
  • Set up and configure peripheral devices, and manage data transfers and recovery from failed storage devices.
  • Update security systems on user PCs and escalate issues to the Information Security team as needed.
  • Provide support for VIPs and prioritize their requests, both locally and remotely, including emergency support.
  • Collaborate with Property Management, Audit, and Legal teams for PC disposal, data management, and audit requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT helpdesk support or a similar technical support role.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with users and teams.
  • Bilingual in Korean and English preferred.
