The AMA Division is seeking a Senior Program Control Analyst with proven expertise in program oversight and financial analysis. The chosen candidate will collaborate closely with project managers and principal investigators to conduct budget evaluations, cost forecasts, and man-hour assessments, as well as ensure compliance with contract and FAR regulations.

To qualify, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, alongside a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Ideal candidates are self-driven, capable of working independently, and achieving outcomes without constant supervision. Additionally, they should exhibit strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while adapting to shifting priorities under tight deadlines. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Program Control Analyst

  • Oversee project budgets and expenditures.
  • Conduct financial analysis, including cost forecasts and estimates.
  • Prepare reports on project spending and financial projections.
  • Perform compliance analysis for project contracts and FAR regulations.
  • Participate in project meetings, documenting minutes and action items.
  • Monitor subcontractor expenditures, project completion, and deliverables.
  • Administer project subcontracts.
  • Generate monthly contract reports.
  • Extract financial and project cost data from internal systems.
  • Ensure completion of program quality reviews.
  • Provide updated financial charts and graphs for Project Monthly Review presentations.
  • Assist in drafting subcontracts, consulting agreements, contract modifications, and purchase orders in accordance with corporate templates and guidelines.
  • Maintain ongoing project cost forecasts and assist in developing annual cost and staffing projections with quarterly updates for management.

Qualifications for the Senior Program Control Analyst

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Two to four years of relevant experience in project support or management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with familiarity in Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Strong mathematical and financial acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with MS SharePoint or similar collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and accounting software.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for a top-secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current active security clearance.
  • At least four years of experience in a project analyst capacity.
  • Experience managing government contracts exceeding $10 million.
  • Familiarity with federal contracting processes.
