Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team at LHC Group. As an Office Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our leadership team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with routine clerical tasks, including filing, scheduling, and data entry.
- Answer telephone calls and deliver messages in a professional and courteous manner.
- Pull, review, and follow up on reports of orders, recertifications, and unverified visits.
- Maintain up-to-date medical records by scanning documents timely and completing EOE audits as appropriate.
- Communicate professionally within the organization and with external sources, including physicians, patients, and family members.
Requirements
- Must have computer skills, clerical-business machine skills, and telephone communication skills.
- Must be able to type and possess general clerical skills and organizational skills.
