Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team at LHC Group. As an Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our leadership with routine clerical and office tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Responsibilities
  • Assist leadership with filing, scheduling, and data entry tasks, including processing workflow tasks as assigned.
  • Provide administrative support, answer telephone calls, and deliver messages in a professional and timely manner.
  • Pull, review, and follow up on reports of orders, recertifications, and unverified visits.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records by scanning documents timely and completing EOE audits as necessary.
  • Complete discharge chart reviews, perform audits, process orders to/from physicians, and track for timely receipt.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including physicians, patients, family members, and referral sources.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in computer skills, clerical-business machine skills, and telephone communication skills.
  • Ability to type and possess general clerical skills and organizational skills.
