ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

As a vital member of our Engineering Team, the Aerospace Maintenance Technician / Assistant will provide support across various areas of the flight line as required. This includes aiding lead mechanics with routine maintenance activities, as well as maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the shop floor. Responsibilities may involve tasks such as cleaning and polishing both the interior and exterior surfaces of aircraft. This position is ideal for those seeking a career with growth potential. Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting experienced A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) Mechanics in diagnosing and repairing aircraft by adhering to verbal or written instructions and detailed procedural documentation.
  • Removing, cleaning, inspecting, or replacing aircraft components in accordance with training and established procedures.
  • Ensuring the work area is kept clean, safe, and organized on a daily basis.
  • Adhering to regulations and procedures, including Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), Foreign Object Damage (FOD), Tool Control, and OSHA safety standards.
  • Cleaning aircraft windows and fuselage, both inside and out.
  • Vacuuming aircraft interiors and wiping down surfaces.
  • Removing waste and cleaning the aircraft cockpit.
  • Assisting in other areas as needed or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience in automotive or aircraft maintenance is preferred.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills; interaction with aircraft customers and team members is required.
  • A positive, teachable attitude with a willingness to assist team members with various tasks.
  • Ability to work productively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively within a team to meet quality standards.
  • Strong commitment to following instructions, maintaining work quality, and ensuring productivity.
  • Some physical lifting may be necessary.
  • Able to stand for extended periods and move throughout the facility to support operations.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and disciplined individual.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
