ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

As a vital member of the Engineering Team, the Aerospace Maintenance Technician will provide support across various functions on the flight line. This role involves assisting lead mechanics with routine maintenance tasks, as well as ensuring the shop floor is organized and clean. Responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting experienced A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) Mechanics in diagnosing and repairing aircraft by adhering to verbal and written instructions and detailed procedures.
  • Removing, cleaning, inspecting, or replacing aircraft components as per training and established protocols.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area on a daily basis.
  • Adhering to regulations and procedures such as Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), Foreign Object Damage (FOD), Tool Control, and OSHA safety standards.
  • Cleaning aircraft windows and fuselage both inside and out.
  • Vacuuming aircraft interiors and wiping down surfaces.
  • Disposing of trash and cleaning the aircraft cockpit.
  • Assisting in other areas as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience in automotive or aircraft maintenance is preferred.
  • Professional demeanor and exceptional customer service skills; will interact with aircraft customers and team members.
  • A positive, teachable attitude, with a readiness to assist colleagues with various tasks.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Capability to collaborate within a team to meet quality standards.
  • Strong commitment to following instructions, work quality, and productivity.
  • Some physical lifting may be necessary.
  • Able to stand for extended periods and move throughout the facility to support operations.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and driven individual.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Authorized to work legally in the U.S. without sponsorship.
