**Position Overview:**

The Leadless Clinical Specialist serves as the foremost authority on leadless products and therapies in the field. This role entails providing procedural, technical, clinical, educational, and sales guidance to facilitate the secure adoption and expansion of Abbott's leadless technology. The Specialist collaborates closely with both internal and external stakeholders to promote therapy uptake and ensure procedural excellence.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Deliver primary support during initial leadless implant procedures, leveraging extensive knowledge of best practices, clinical data, and technical product expertise.

+ Collaborate with local sales teams to promote the safe integration of leadless therapy within accounts and to transfer technical knowledge to the commercial team.

+ Facilitate national physician training initiatives, providing hands-on training experiences in conjunction with the education team.

+ Cultivate strong relationships with physician implanters through demonstrated technical and clinical proficiency.

+ Manage local educational and training activities, including coordination, setup, and content delivery. Conduct simulated procedures and provide troubleshooting guidance for local Abbott teams, hospital staff, physicians, and clinic personnel.

+ Assist in certifying local Abbott personnel and train them on the operation of field-based simulators.

+ Collaborate with Leadless Professional Development colleagues to achieve shared goals in leadless therapy.

+ Complete necessary administrative tasks, such as tracking cases and monitoring physician training progress.

+ Provide constructive feedback to internal stakeholders to enhance future customer experiences.

+ Employ best business practices to ensure success and cost-effectiveness in assigned responsibilities.

+ Ensure compliance with Abbott policies and procedures.

**Equipment Utilization:**

Utilizes a personal computer (desktop and/or laptop), peripheral equipment, cellular phone, and standard office tools. Operates advanced computer-based haptic simulation systems.

**Work Environment:**

This role involves working from a field office or personal residence, with significant travel requirements. The Specialist may spend considerable time on the road, utilizing personal or commercial transportation and staying in various accommodations.

**Physical Requirements:**

Job functions necessitate mobility and stamina, including walking, standing, and sitting; manual dexterity for handling and demonstrating products; and effective communication skills. Lifting requirements typically reach up to 25 pounds, with occasional exceptions. Clear vision and good depth perception are essential.

**Qualifications:**

**_Required:_**

+ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., engineering) or equivalent experience.

+ 3-5 years of clinical experience with medical devices, preferably in CRM products.

+ Strong analytical skills to assess and evaluate complex technological devices.

+ Proven ability to collaborate effectively with others.

+ High comfort level in navigating medical environments, including labs and hospitals.

+ Demonstrated success in leading and influencing customers, with the ability to provide guidance as needed.

+ Proficient in preparing and delivering effective written and verbal communications.

+ Familiarity with medical device industry policies and operations.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

+ Proficient in commonly used personal computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.

+ Willingness to travel extensively for business purposes.
