Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Parts Management Specialist to join our team at Western Express. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our inventory, ensuring that we have the necessary parts to meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels, utilizing reporting tools to ensure sufficient stock for repairs and maintenance.
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of parts associates, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory management procedures and company policies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory management and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in parts/inventory management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with TMT and Synergize software.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to set and manage goals and expectations.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
Performance Metrics
  • Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform quarterly inventory audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
