Role Summary:

We are in search of a proficient Systems Engineer to enhance our team as a Senior SharePoint Infrastructure Specialist. This position requires a deep understanding of SharePoint systems and Windows Server environments. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing our SharePoint infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the performance and integrity of SharePoint systems, including installation, configuration, and deployment.
  • Utilize Central Administration, STSADM, and PowerShell for SharePoint management tasks.
  • Manage SharePoint components such as web parts, workflows, and Office Online integration.
  • Ensure systems align with business objectives and performance metrics.
  • Establish and uphold best practices for system architecture and maintenance.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SharePoint, providing in-depth technical support and guidance.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends and advancements in technology.
  • Diagnose and resolve intricate technical challenges.
  • Assist in managing Azure Windows environments and on-premises Windows servers.
  • Implement monitoring solutions to maintain system health and performance.
  • Identify and rectify system inefficiencies and challenges.
  • Continuously enhance systems for optimal performance, reliability, and security.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations and processes.
  • Provide management with regular updates on system performance and project progress.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in systems engineering.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Windows Server and SharePoint administration.
  • Proficient in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools.
