Summary: As a Client Service Associate II, you will welcome members into the branch and provide outstanding service that enhances financial literacy. You will utilize your expertise in deposit, loan, and convenience service products to address various financial inquiries with accuracy and efficiency. Your role will also involve achieving and exceeding established cross-sell goals while maintaining high standards of member service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Independently perform tasks, analyze issues, and resolve member concerns with minimal supervision.
  • Adhere to sales and service protocols to ensure an exceptional member experience.
  • Handle cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
  • Process loan advances from credit card or line of credit accounts.
  • Issue cashier's checks and balance cash drawers daily.
  • Create a welcoming and professional atmosphere when interacting with members.
  • Support and promote all marketing initiatives.
  • Achieve cross-sell targets by recommending products and services that meet member needs.
  • Assist in processing transactions and balancing cash vaults.
  • May be required to work at different branch locations.
  • Assist in training new team members.

Experience/Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in credit union or banking environments.
  • Prior experience in customer service or teller roles.
  • Familiarity with banking and credit union regulations.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for financial improvement and communicate effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Reliable attendance and sound judgment.
  • Basic math skills and organizational abilities.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
  • A valid California Class C Driver's License and appropriate insurance coverage are required.
