Role Summary

The Member Service Representative II is responsible for delivering outstanding service to our members, aiming to exceed established cross-selling goals. This role plays a vital part in achieving organizational objectives and supporting promotional initiatives while maintaining high standards of member service.

As a Branch Floater, you will provide exceptional customer service and operational support across various branches, gaining valuable experience and contributing to the overall success of Foothill Federal Credit Union.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently perform tasks, analyze issues, and resolve member inquiries with minimal supervision.
  • Adhere to sales and service protocols to ensure an exceptional member experience.
  • Manage financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
  • Process loan advances and issue cashier's checks.
  • Maintain accurate cash drawer balances daily.
  • Assist with new account openings and complex member requests.
  • Create a welcoming and professional environment for all interactions.
  • Support and promote marketing initiatives.
  • Achieve cross-selling targets by recommending products and services tailored to member needs.
  • Prepare checks for processing and assist in cash vault balancing.
Qualifications

Experience and Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in credit union or banking environments

Must possess a solid understanding of credit union regulations and compliance.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
  • Ability to identify financial improvement opportunities for members
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable attendance and sound judgment
  • Basic math skills and organizational abilities
