Position Overview:
This role requires US Citizenship. It is a full-time office-based position with no remote or telework options. Project Insight:
The organization is currently engaged in a significant project at the Kennedy Space Center, focusing on the design and construction of the Mobile Launcher 2 for NASA's Space Launch System.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (6 years with a degree or 12 years without).
- Expertise in procurement processes and purchase order management.
- Experience with government project procurements.
- Strong skills in supplier engagement, bidder prequalification, and bid request preparation.
- Familiarity with the Uniform Commercial Code and commercial legislation.
- Proficient in negotiating contract terms and managing commitments.
- Knowledge of international purchasing conditions and supplier relations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly with engineering and project management teams.
- Understanding of materials management, including electrical, piping, mechanical, and instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare project purchase documentation, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
- Maintain and oversee project bidder lists, collaborating with procurement and operational teams.
- Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring adherence to negotiation plans.
- Provide guidance and training to junior purchasing staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
