Role Overview:

The Procurement Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the procurement and logistics functions of the organization. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing purchase orders, generating new part numbers, coordinating shipments, and executing various procurement-related activities to ensure the prompt delivery of goods.

Key Qualifications:

  1. Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with spreadsheets and numerical data
  2. Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  3. Background in administrative roles

Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience in procurement
  2. Background in accounting or finance
  3. Familiarity with Netsuite ERP for generating purchase orders, invoicing, and receipts

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate with suppliers to obtain optimal pricing and terms
  • Issue purchase orders as necessary and secure required approvals
  • Develop and maintain delivery schedules for project managers
  • Gather information for procurement reporting
  • Timely reconciliation of invoices
  • Coordinate and arrange transportation for product deliveries
  • Collaborate with the Finance team on the creation of new part numbers and various reports
  • Generate analytical reports to monitor purchase orders, invoices, freight, and other procurement data
  • Complete tasks assigned by the Procurement Manager
