Are you skilled in procurement within the construction sector? We are looking for a dedicated Procurement Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address vendor issues, including product quality, pricing, invoicing, and contract inconsistencies.
  • Foster relationships with trade partners to fulfill bidding and production requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with departments such as land development, construction, marketing, finance, and design to achieve objectives and timelines.
  • Relay product modifications to Sales, Construction, and Subcontractors.
  • Initiate and evaluate subcontractor proposals, compile contract confirmations, and ensure compliance with audit standards.
  • Assist in analyzing base costs and option pricing.
  • Examine project budgets for accurate base house and margin costs.
  • Support the end-of-month cost-off process for current month closings.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Procurement Specialist in the construction industry, ideally in homebuilding.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with JD Edwards & Build Pro is advantageous.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
  • Strong negotiation capabilities.
