Our flagship facility is a 1,368-bed hospital located in a vibrant tropical setting. We provide immediate health insurance coverage and numerous opportunities for career advancement. As a major tertiary care center, we serve a wide region, including the Southeast, the Caribbean, and South America. Our hospital features one of the largest Emergency Departments and cardiac catheterization labs in the nation, attending to over 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients annually.

Your Role:
The registered dietitian will implement the nutrition care process to evaluate, diagnose, and provide nutrition interventions while monitoring patient progress. You will adhere to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' Standards of Practice and Professional Performance.

Your Contributions:
- Conduct thorough nutrition-focused physical assessments and collect relevant data.
- Identify nutrition risks and problems, including malnutrition and knowledge deficits.
- Provide tailored nutrition recommendations and counseling that respects health literacy and cultural sensitivity.
- Adjust nutrition care plans based on patient progress and outcomes.
- Mentor dietetic interns and new staff, ensuring they meet learning objectives.
- Stay updated on emerging research and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create effective nutrition care plans.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or a related field with 4 years of clinical experience, or a graduate degree with 2 years of experience, or a post-graduate degree with 1 year of experience.
- Active registered dietitian status with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Current licensure with the state Department of Health.
- Certification as a nutrition support clinician (CNSC).
