Responsibilities- Provide medical nutrition therapy to patients with various health conditions, including pediatric and adult populations.
- Develop and implement nutritional care plans based on patient assessment and disease state requirements.
- Counsel patients and their families on nutritional principles, dietary plans, and food selections.
- Communicate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in medical nutrition therapy.
- Bachelor's degree from a U.S. regionally accredited university or college with coursework accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Dietetics Education (CADE).
- Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and licensure as a Dietitian/Nutritionist in the State of Florida.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret patient data and develop effective nutritional care plans.
