Your Role:
The registered dietitian plays a vital role in utilizing the nutrition care process to:
- Screen, assess, diagnose, and implement nutrition interventions
- Monitor and evaluate the nutritional status and progress of patients
- Apply the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Standards of Practice in Nutrition Care

Your Contributions:
- Conduct nutrition-focused physical assessments and collect relevant data
- Identify nutrition risks and develop tailored nutrition care plans
- Provide education and counseling with cultural sensitivity
- Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes
- Document care accurately and timely in electronic health records
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote optimal nutrition care

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition or a related field with a minimum of 4 years of clinical experience, or a graduate degree with 2 years of experience, or a post-graduate degree with 1 year of experience
- Active registered dietitian status with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Current licensure with the state Department of Health
- Certification as a Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC)
