Job Overview

Position Summary: The Sales Product Expert plays a crucial role in achieving sales goals by collaborating with COD and Distributor Channel Partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the achievement of sales objectives within the division.
  • Serve as the Product Champion for the division, identifying and nurturing sales opportunities in assigned focus areas.
  • Address and resolve product quality issues in the field.
  • Engage in quality assessments with clients at their sites.
  • Lead the creation of technical documentation, training materials, and service kits in partnership with relevant departments.
  • Contribute insights from a service perspective during product transition meetings and design reviews.
  • Assist distributors and dealers with installation and service-related challenges.
  • Travel to various locations to address escalated product concerns.
  • Ensure division goals are met for specific programs within the specialist's focus area.
  • Provide resources and promotional support to empower TSMs in selling targeted products.
  • Act as a supplementary sales and training resource for COD and IND channels.
  • Undertake additional projects and responsibilities to support business needs.

  • Utilizes practical knowledge typically gained through advanced education and experience.
  • Encouraged to pursue continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Handles a variety of straightforward tasks independently with general oversight.
  • Encounters challenging but manageable problems.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Proficient in managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and negotiation.
  • Skilled in developing effective communication materials such as sales documentation and reports.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Adept at generating and interpreting reports as needed.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of the competitive landscape.
  • Demonstrates strong work ethics and integrity.
  • Exhibits sound judgment and professionalism in all tasks.

Experience:

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in the HVAC industry, particularly with commercial and ductless products.

Education/Certification:

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred; however, industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
